There is an identified need in the industry to address the energy input type and efficiency of space heating and cooling equipment across sectors.

CEE's Steve Sylvestre, Rebecca Olson, Rabi Vandergon, and Josh Quinnell are coming to the 2024 ENERGY STAR Products Partner Meeting in Minneapolis. Steve's presentation "Home Envelope: Recommendations for Designing Successful Programs" will be on Tuesday, September 17 from 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. while Becky and Josh's presentation "Get Comfortable" will be on Thursday, September 19 from 1:15 p.m.-2:15 p.m.

The team will be connecting with property managers and building engineers to share information on the One-Stop Efficiency Shop's free energy efficiency consulting and rebate program and Minnesota's Efficient Technology Accelerator's (ETA) commercial initiatives: SCALE and Next Gen RTUs.

The team will be connecting with school facility managers and maintenance staff to share information on the One-Stop Efficiency Shop's free energy efficiency consulting and rebate program and Minnesota's Efficient Technology Accelerator's (ETA) commercial initiatives: SCALE and Next Gen RTUs.

CEE's Jordyn Purvins and Rabi Vandergon will cover a variety of topics, including ASHP sizing, selection, controls, installation best practices, and available rebates and incentives. Consumers are seeking contractors knowledgeable about ASHP installations, so we’ll also share research findings to help you market heat pumps to your customers.

Individual staff who help homeowners select and size equipment are encouraged to attend the training and apply for network membership. Breakfast will be provided, and participants can earn continuing education credits towards the NATE certification. This event also satisfies the training requirement to join the MN ASHP Collaborative Preferred Contractor Network, a lead generating network that connects homeowners with quality ASHP installers.
