Indiana's home energy rebate program is off to a slow start, but ahead of other states (WNIN)

Since launching in May, Indiana’s IRA-funded home energy rebate program has received about 1,400 applications. Emily McPherson, CEE’s Director of Market Transformation Deployment, which implements Minnesota’s Efficient Technology Accelerator, says these programs take time to scale as contractors and homeowners become familiar with new technologies like heat pumps.

Accelerator promotes energy tech adoption (Finance & Commerce)

New technologies to reduce carbon emissions and improve efficiency require buy-in from contractors and clients to achieve long-term success. In 2021, the Minnesota Legislature authorized the Commerce Department to establish Minnesota's Efficient Technology Accelerator, funded by the state’s investor-owned utilities. Commerce developed a partnership with the Center for Energy and Environment to drive greater market deployment of specific technologies.
